The Tarragindi project was the perfect example of how a Queenslander can be dramatically reborn to meet the modern needs of a growing family. The client came to us with plans for their dream extension and renovation — one which would extend and modernise the kitchen, add a study and new bathroom, and build a brand new deck which would allow them to spend more time outside.
The results speak for themselves. The old Queenslander kitchen has been replaced with an airy and modern entertainer’s kitchen with a large kitchen island, leading out to a large deck which will host countless summer meals to come. The study was a must-have for a growing family, while the beautiful new bathroom has a wet area with bath and shower, finished with terrazzo and subway tiles for the perfect modern-meets-heritage look.
It’s incredible what a difference this kind of renovation can make to a house that’s been standing for a century, managing to improve on the challenges of these old homes while also respecting their heritage and inherent beauty. And at Landini Constructions, we’re proud to be part of the transformation, with build quality and attention to detail that will stand the test of time. We know this Queenslander will continue to make families happy for another hundred years!
