Vista Avenue

Tarragindi

Project Brief

The clients owned a 1945 one-storey double-brick house in Tarragindi that no longer met their needs. For the next stage of their lives they wanted to cater for their older teenager, as well as make their house much more inviting for entertaining family and friends.

They approached us for a full renovation, including a replacement of the old tiled roof with a compliant metal roof, and a complete remodelling of the three bedroom bungalow and separate granny flat.

As the house is double-brick, there was extensive demolition as we reconfigured the house layout, replaced the roof, and added skylights to bring natural light into the home. Precision craftsmanship was required throughout, as the new design incorporated clean lines and premium materials including stunning granite backsplashes, fluted glass cabinetry, and premium tiles.

Large sliding doors were added to create seamless indoor-outdoor living, leading out onto a covered patio which will be perfect for all-weather entertaining. The granny flat also got a glow-up, with a beautiful renovation including bedroom, ensuite and storage room.  The completed house is absolutely gorgeous and a true entertainer’s delight, featuring beautiful Art Deco features in a light and airy interior.

This project involved considerable demolition and a lot of change along the way as the project scope grew. We love working closely with clients on delivering their dream home, whatever it takes.
